Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A notable gathering in Madrid brought together community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma news european parliament guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.

Throughout the gathering, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
